FAQ

Will I receive a tangible item or certificate for the gift I purchase?

With the purchase of a symbolic gift and adoption, you are supporting the rehabilitation
of wildlife in distress. The gifts and adoptions are representative of donations you are generously making to Wildlife Rescue Association of BC. No physical products are shipped with your purchase.

You will receive a certificate if you choose a symbolic adoption. If you wish to notify an honoree of a gift in their honour, tribute cards are available for download here.

How will my Symbolic Adoption certificate be delivered?

You will be able to chose between a digital or a printed certificate. Certificates will be sent to the email or shipping address provided at checkout, depending on your selection.

When will I receive my Symbolic Adoption certificate?

Your certificate will be issued within 5 business days. If you choose a printed certificate, additional shipping times apply.

Canada Post's estimated shipping times are:

  • Three business days within BC
  • Four days for other provinces

What impact will my gift have?

The gifts serve as symbols for the life-saving care of BC's precious wildlife. 100% of your donation will help save injured or orphaned animals to release them back to their wild homes.

Will I receive a tax receipt for the gift I purchase?

Yes, symbolic gifts and adoptions are eligible for a charitable tax receipt. We will send your receipt to the email address provided on checkout. Please allow 4-8 weeks during the holiday season for the processing of tax receipts
for donations made by cheque or credit card sent through the mail.
